Celebrate Nature at the 2024 Creswell Arbor Day Event!

Mark your calendars, nature enthusiasts! The City of Creswell is gearing up for its much-anticipated Arbor Day event on Saturday, April 27th, from 11 am to 1 pm at the picturesque Garden Lake Park. This year, we are proudly celebrating Creswell's 15th consecutive year as a Tree City USA, and we invite the entire community to join us in the festivities.

What to Expect:

Tree Giveaway: Embrace the spirit of Arbor Day by taking home a young tree! Our tree giveaway is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the city's greenery and make a positive impact on the environment.

Delicious Delights: The renowned Duck Truck will be on-site, offering free mouthwatering food to all attendees. Come hungry and indulge in a delightful culinary experience while enjoying the festivities.

Artistic Expressions: Bring the kids along for an exciting day of free face painting. Let their imaginations run wild as they transform into whimsical creatures, adding an extra layer of fun to the celebration.

Harmony in Nature: Immerse yourself in the soulful tunes as music fills the air. The event promises a melodic backdrop, creating a harmonious atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

Special Treat for 4th Graders: As a token of appreciation for our young environmental stewards, all 4th graders in attendance will receive an 'Every Kid Outdoors' pass. This pass grants them and their entire family free entry into any National Park – a perfect opportunity for families to explore and connect with nature.

Organized by the City of Creswell's Parks and Tree Advisory Board, Arbor Day aims to foster a sense of community, environmental awareness, and a love for nature. This dedicated team has put together an event that promises fun, education, and a chance to give back to Mother Earth.
