Drinking Water Source Protection Plan

The Oregon Infrastructure Finance Authority awarded Creswell a grant to assess risks to our drinking water source, the Coast Fork of the Willamette River. This grant funding was used by the City and the Coast Fork Willamette Watershed Council to craft a Drinking Water Protection Plan.

The Plan is recognized as a useful tool for protecting the viability of businesses and households in the City of Creswell and within the Coast Fork Willamette Watershed. The final draft of the Plan has just been approved by the Oregon Drinking Water Services under the Oregon Health Authority, as well as the Department of Environmental Quality.
