The City of Creswell Building Department oversees and enforces Oregon State Building, Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical codes as well as the life, safety, and fire safety codes within Creswell City limits. The Building Permit Tech, Angela Keppler, reviews all plans and permits that are submitted to the City of Creswell.
The City of Creswell takes part in the statewide ePermitting program. This program allows contractors use of multiple online services, such as purchasing permits, submitting plans electronically for review, and tracking permit progress. If you need assistance setting up a new account or applying for a permit, please call the ePermitting Help Desk at 1-800-442-7457.
Are you looking to build a home in the wonderful City of Creswell? Or are you wanting to add on to a pre-existing home? We are here to help! You have come to the right place!
If you are a homeowner completing the project yourself, please complete our New Single-Family Dwelling Application Packet.
If you are a contractor and are using ePermitting for this project, simply fill out the packet minus the building permit application.
Building a house in Creswell requires 3 Steps:
Document | Purpose | |
---|---|---|
Step 1 | To review for compliance with Creswell's Development Code (i.e. siting, architectural, and design requirements). | |
Step 2 | To review for compliance with the State Structural Code. | |
Step 3 | To review for compliance with the City's Public Works Design Standards and insurance to work in the right-of-way. I will check with Cliff to determine what additional information you need to provide about water and sewer connections. |
Looking to expedite the process to start building?
Submit materials to satisfy all three steps together by filling out the entire packet and Staff will seamlessly process your residential project! (Scroll to the bottom of this page for the complete packet of materials).
