Safety Sundays with Paisley. Just a quick reminder from your favorite dog: keep that gas tank of yours at least half full! You see, when the gas tank gets too low, the fuel line could freeze! Trust me, you don’t want to be stuck in the cold without a way to get to the park or your favorite treats!

Today we kick off our Creswell Heroes series, a series where we highlight important figures in our community and share the wonderful things that they do! Today the spotlight is on Nick Caum, Director of the Creswell Library!

Creswell Heroes. Nick Caum, Creswell Library Director. For nine years, Nick Caum has served at Creswell Library, transforming it into a vibrant community hub. His motivation stems from a desire to see people happy and engaged, which has driven him to focus on projects that foster connection. Notable programs under his leadership include the Summer Reading Program, Teen Tabletop games, and various adult art and cooking events. Nick believes the library should be more than just a place for books; it should offer enjoyment, education, and companionship. “I hope I have helped to position the library as a community hub,” he says, emphasizing its role as a welcoming space for residents to connect and learn. What inspires Nick are the smiles of community members—children at storytime, parents at Lego Club, and adults forming friendships at art nights. His dedication has made the Creswell Library a cherished resource for all.
