Happy Sunday, Creswell! Today Paisley wants to remind everyone to be safe while putting up their Christmas lights! Clark Griswold's house may have been shiny and bright but it was also a fire hazard! Let's be safe!

Safety Sundays with paisley. I just love the twinkly lights, but hey, let’s be safe! Be sure to check the wires for any frays and remember not to overload those outlets. Let’s keep things glowing, but not so bright that it causes a fire!

Common Reasons for High Utility Bills High utility bills can be frustrating, and there are several common reasons for them. Here are some to consider: Leaky Fixtures: Dripping faucets, leaking toilets, or showerheads can waste a significant amount of water over time. Running Toilets: A toilet that continuously runs can lead to a major increase in water usage. Irrigation System Issues: Broken sprinkler heads or timers set incorrectly can cause overwatering in your yard. Increased Usage: Seasonal changes, such as watering the garden in the summer or filling a pool, can naturally raise your water consumption. Water Main Leaks: Undetected leaks in your home’s plumbing or the municipal water supply can lead to higher bills. Guest Usage: Extra people in your home can increase water usage significantly, especially if they use laundry and shower facilities. Appliance Upgrades: New washing machines or dishwashers that are not water-efficient may use more water than older models. Changing Habits: Any changes in your daily habits, like longer showers or more laundry loads, can also contribute to higher bills.
