We are looking for vendors for Romeo's Fall Festival! We are looking for vendors for Romeo’s Fall Festival! Romeo, our beloved steer and a true survivor, has found his forever home at Welcome Home Animal Sanctuary. This sanctuary is built on the principles of compassion, respect, and kindness towards all living beings. They strive to create a safe and peaceful environment where animals can live their lives free from harm and exploitation. In solidarity with these values, we will be carefully selecting vendors whose products or services align with this mission. We kindly request that vendors avoid offering items that contain animal-derived materials or involve the exploitation of animals in any way. We believe that this approach helps us honor the lives of the animals we care for and supports the compassionate message of our event. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us create an event that reflects the love and respect we have for all animals. Thank you so much for being a part of this special day.

Paisley’s Ponderings. The humans at City Hall want me ask you all to pick up any garbage or food you may leave at the park because I WILL absolutely try to eat it! Apparently I’m not supposed to eat trash (even though I love it)

Fire Safe College Housing, Are there working smoke alarms? Are there at least two ways out of each room and the building? Do the upper levels have at least two sets of stairs? Are their exit signs in the hallway? Are there enough outlets so that you can plug everything in without using an extension cord? Does the building have a sprinkler system and a fire alarm system? Does the sprinkler/fire alarm system send a signal to the local fire department or campus security? Is the building address clearly posted so emergency services can find it quickly? Has the building's heating system been inspected recently?

School starts very soon and now is a great time to start talking about school bus safety!

Stay at least five giant steps away from the curb. Always wait until the bus comes to a stop. Face forward after finding a seat. Exit the bus and look left-right-left for cars before crossing the street.
